A cenotaph in Rochdale had its poppies removed and replaced with Palestinian flags as tensions grow over pro-Palestine protest on Remembrance Day.
Video footage shows a man returning the Remembrance wreaths on the war memorial and discarding Palestinian flags.
The man can be seen picking up wreaths dispersed across the floor and removing flags from the bottom of the cenotaph.
It comes amid fears a huge march could spark clashes on Saturday, November 11 across London.
The mass demonstration, which is expected to bring tens of thousands of people to the capital, has received criticism over recent days.
Campaign group Friends of Al Aqsa, co-organised with Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PCS), said that its route would be between Marble Arch and Battersea Park, expected to start at 12.45 - two hours after the minute of silence.
