I can reveal that the French are letting key members of illegal migrant smuggling gangs walk free from prison.
French police stopped a man in the dead of night transporting an inflatable boat, a motor and five cans of gasoline to a town called Gravelines in Northern France.
All the boats used to get migrants into Britain from the French coast originate from Germany.
A loophole allows those boats to be stored there because they're destined for Britain, a non-EU country.

Something Sir Keir Starmer claims to have just stopped
So the police stopped this bloke, and he said he saw an advert for a transport service on Facebook where he was offered 230 Euros to transport a delivery to Brussels. Then, during the journey, the location was changed to near the town of Gravelines in northern France.
He claimed he thought he didn't know what he was transporting.
He was found guilty of transporting nautical equipment for the purposes of illegal immigration, and the prosecutor wanted a custodial sentence.
What do you think the French judge gave him? An eight-month suspended sentence.
He was also banned from entering France for five years. His car was confiscated.
Remember when Sir Keir Starmer made such a big deal about getting Emmanuel Macron to help tackle the small boats?
This is why we need to control our own borders and start deporting people ourselves.
Even when the French police catch a bloke red handed with an inflatable boat, an engine and tanks of petrol on his way to a town where illegal migrants set off for Britain, a French judge will just send him on his way.
Meanwhile, today, t's been revealed that the figure is actually almost 900 channel crossings just today alone.
It's hopeless, isn't it?
