NextImg:Patrick Christys livid over 'embarrassing' Keir Starmer after 'catastrophic' migrant crossing numbers

Patrick Christys has expressed outrage at Prime Minister Keir Starmer following revelations about declining arrest figures for people smuggling operations.

The GB News host blasted Labour as "embarrassing" and stated that the numbers are "catastrophic" for the Government.

Patrick Christys said: "Pretty embarrassing stuff for Keir Starmer. Smash the gangs, smash the gangs and fewer are being smashed.

"It's pathetic. The numbers are down from what was a pretty pathetic number anyway."

Political commentator Mark Littlewood said: "Absolutely feeble. For something which is, let's face it, a national emergency."

He fumed: "What on earth are Border Force doing? Looks to me like the only people interested are Tory frontbenchers and GB News presenters.

"Where the hell are Border Force? I mean, this is utterly pitiful."

Patrick said: "How damaging is this for Sir Keir Starmer? Because that is the headline that I think is the stuff of nightmares for him, isn't it?"

He added: "Just really catastrophic. The whole thing ‘smash the gangs’ and here we are, the numbers are down. How can it be down when we've got every other day an announcement on smashing the gangs?"

A new milestone in the Channel crossing crisis emerged yesterday when GB News revealed that 106 individuals were packed onto a single vessel overnight, marking the highest number ever recorded on one boat entering British waters.

Border Force and law enforcement officials have retrieved the boat and transported it to Dover harbour for detailed analysis.

This development marks a significant escalation from previous records, with the prior maximum being 96 people on an extremely overcrowded vessel that barely reached UK waters.

Monthly statistics show boats typically carried an average of 60 people, making this latest crossing nearly double the usual capacity.

The Channel crossing crisis has intensified dramatically under the current government, with GB News reporting that more than 50,000 individuals have reached British shores via small boats since Sir Keir Starmer assumed office.

The emergence of larger vessels capable of transporting over 100 people represents a significant escalation in smuggling operations.
