A man has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing a 32-year-old woman at Notting Hill Carnival on Sunday.

Shakiel Thibou, 20, was charged with attempted murder, violent disorder, and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was arrested at an address in Hammersmith and Fulham on Tuesday morning and charged in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The 20-year-old will appear at Westminster's Magistrates Court later today.

Two other men have been charged in connection to the same incident. The three men are all brothers.

Sheldon Thibou, 24, of Star Road in West Kensington, has been charged with violent disorder, possession of a stun gun, and assaulting an emergency worker.

Shaeim Thibou, 22, of Charleville Road in West Kensington, was also charged with violent disorder and assaulting an emergency worker.

They will also appear in court later today.

The 32-year-old woman was stabbed on Golborne Road shortly before 6.00pm, after police believe she was caught up in the middle of a fight between two groups of men.
