An NHS worker and her paedophile boyfriend have been jailed after plotting to carry out "brutal" sex attacks against young children.
Tracy Turner, 51, and Stuart Compton, 46, who called themselves "Bonnie and Clyde", plotted to attack two girls and a boy.
The couple, who shared their sick fantasy over 100,000 text messages, planned to lure the children on camping trips.
Turner, who was dismissed from her role at University Hospital in Cardiff after police were alerted of the plots, even offered to babysit one planned victim as a ploy for the couple to carry out their sick attacks.
The 51-year-old and her 46-year-old boyfriend have now been jailed after pleading guilty to six counts of arranging sex with a child.
Compton also admitted to six counts of making indecent images, while Turner admitted two counts of the same offence.
Prosecutor Matthew Cobbe said: "The first threads of messages suggested fantasy, they expressly talked about fantasy, but this developed into an obsession.
"Their obsession drove them to discuss over and over the sexual acts that they intended to perform and the ways that they believed that they could achieve that goal."

The rape of an eight-year-old girl in an abandoned shed was among the 100,000 depraved text messages discussed at Merthyr Crown Court.
The plot also included "disposing" of the child after the attack.
In another potential attack, the couple plotted to rape a boy that Turner attempted to groom and a girl aged under 13.
The couple's twisted plan was only exposed after a "well-known dating app" contacted the police with concerns over Compton in December 2024.

South Wales Police later raided the couple's home and found a haul of illegal weapons, including a baton, knuckle duster and blade.
Child sex abuse images were also found on Compton's mobile phone.
In a victim impact statement, the mum of one of the victims said: "The thought of what could have happened to our daughter by two people who have monstrous sexual intent is unforgivable."
Meanwhile, the father of another victim described the couple's crimes as "incomprehensible".

Compton must now serve at least six years and 131 days behind bars after being handed a life sentence.
Turner was also jailed for 12 years with a two-year extended licence, leaving her eligible for parole after serving two-thirds of her sentence.
The charge of plotting to kidnap and murder a girl under 13 was left to lie on file.
Sentencing Compton to life, Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke said that "it is clear you were the driving force in the messages" and he "did not accept seriousness" of his offending.

She added: "Unless and until the parole board considers it safe to release you, you will remain in prison."
David Butt, Detective Inspector at South Wales Police, described the "volume and nature" of the content as the "worst of the worst".
"Turner and Compton believe they can hide behind phone screens, but this is clearly not the case," he added.
Meanwhile, Cardiff & Vale University Health Board said it would be "inappropriate" for them to comment on the case but confirmed Turner was dismissed from her position in March 2025.
