NextImg:Neighbour row explodes as resident BANNED from their home and entire estate

A problem resident has been banned from returning to their home, as well as entering an entire estate.

The person had been causing "neighbour-related harassment" on the estate in Milton Keynes, Thames Valley Police said.

Officers worked with the council to secure an anti-social behaviour injunction against the resident.

The injunction, served to the individual on September 9, included a condition that excludes them from returning to their home address.

It also means they are banned from entering the entire estate of Downs Barn.

Police said it would safeguard neighbours from "further harassment".

Separately, officers also helped close-down a council-owned property on the neighbouring Conniburrow estate following "persistent reports of drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour" involving the occupant and visitors.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "This property is now back in the possession of Milton Keynes City Council and we have therefore prevented further alarm and distress being caused to other neighbours."

"These actions demonstrate our ongoing commitment to working in partnership to keep our communities safe", the spokesman added.

"We will continue to listen to residents, act on concerns, and use all available tools to tackle anti-social behaviour."

In a separate neighbour dispute, friction was sparked between homeowners in Kersal, Salford, over a family's decision to transform their back garden into a small-scale animal sanctuary.

The unconventional arrangement has led to mounting tensions in the community, with local residents raising concerns about the appropriateness of keeping such animals in a residential area.

The property belongs to a couple identified as Tony and Ilana, who share the home with their six children.

In their back-garden animal sanctuary, the family house two donkeys, several goats and a miniature Shetland pony.

The situation has however escalated to the point where formal complaints have been lodged, transforming what the owners view as a family project into a neighbourhood dispute.

These concerns have prompted official intervention from local authorities.

Salford City Council confirmed it has received multiple complaints regarding both sound disturbances and potential animal welfare issues at the Kersal address.

Council representatives said they are currently examining the situation.
