A furious resident entered into a "screaming match" with their neighbour after claiming she threw bags of rubbish onto the front of their car.
The resident explained they had moved the neighbour's bins by a few feet in order to access their driveway.
However, one morning they left their home to find bags of rubbish "laid out on the hood and windshield" of their car.
In a post to Reddit, the resident wrote: "For the last few months one neighbour has left their cans in the way of the driveway.
"Not a huge deal, I've just moved them a few feet back so the driveway can be used. I've done this a couple times and thought nothing of it, until this morning.
"I walked out the door today to find multiple [rubbish] bags laid out on the hood and windshield of my car."
They added: "I threw the bags on their porch and knocked (loudly) on their door.
"This neighbour came out and claimed she was totally in the right and I was in the wrong for moving her [rubbish bins].

"The entire time she was incredibly smug and thought she was in the right."
The discussion then escalated into a "screaming match" which concluded with the disgruntled resident phoning their landlord and the neighbour "threatening" calls to the police.
"I'm getting a dash cam to protect my car in the future from her," the post added.
"Outside of that and contacting landlords, I'm not sure what my best course of action is.

"If cops need to get involved they will but I'm trying to avoid that."
The Reddit user asked for advice on the situation, to which one person warned they should "stay away".
They wrote: "Stay away from all nutty people. I doubt if the cops will do anything but speak to your community police for advice. Good luck."
Another person advised: "If she’s already escalating to threats and putting [rubbish] on your car, documenting everything and involving the landlord/police early is the safest move.
"You shouldn’t have to put up with harassment just for wanting access to your own driveway."
A third person advised the resident to set up a security camera to monitor the area around their car.
"Stop confronting her, she can use your raised voice to start trouble for you with the cops and your landlord," they commented.
