A woman has been jailed after hitting her neighbour over the head with a spade following a long-running dispute.
Catherine Lloyd, 44, launched her attack against her neighbour outside the victim's property around 26 months ago.
The incident occurred at George Street, Woodston, Peterborough, in the late hours of May 14, 2023.
The neighbours had been in a lengthy dispute for three years over various issues before Lloyd launched her attack.

She admitted to causing grievous bodily harm without intent and was jailed for ten months at Peterborough Crown Court.
Footage shared by Cambridgeshire Police showed Lloyd approaching the victim before launching a wild attack with a spade.
Without slowing down, she smacked her neighbour round the head.
The victim can then be seen responding by taking the spade from the attacker.

DC Lloyd Davis said: "Catherine Lloyd's behaviour in this case was completely unacceptable.
"Irrespective of any ongoing dispute, violence like this is not the answer.
"I'm pleased the victim can now move on."
Another neighbour row erupted in one of the wealthiest parts of London after Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour submitted a retrospective application for a garden shed that neighbours claim breaches previous agreements.

The musician's shed proposal created backlash from the Hampstead Hill Gardens Residents' Association, who argue the structure sits too close to boundary fences.
The shed, measuring just under two by three metres, was constructed to replace earlier garden buildings.
Residents whose gardens adjoin Gilmour's property have submitted letters to Camden Council demanding the shed's removal, claiming it differs significantly from what was approved in 2023.
The residents' association has called for the structure's immediate dismantling.
