NextImg:National Lottery winner who scooped up £10k PER MONTH reveals how she plans to treat her friends

A woman who has secured £10,000 every month for the next year after winning the National Lottery's Set For Life draw on Thursday night, revealed how she plans to treat her friends.

The Berkshire winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, has revealed her intentions to share her good fortune with loved ones through a shopping spree.

Beyond treating her companions to retail therapy, she plans to address necessary home improvements and book a holiday, though she remains undecided about where to travel.

The life-changing win came from matching the numbers three, 27, 42, 45, 46, and Life Ball number six.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at the National Lottery operator Allwyn, expressed his enthusiasm for the winner's plans.

He said: "Wow, what incredible news for this lucky Berkshire local.

"One can only imagine what the planned shopping spree with the girls is going to look like - we hope they all enjoy the treat, and we send huge congratulations to the winner for what will no doubt be one exciting year ahead."

The winner was one of two ticket-holders who claimed the second-tier prize in Thursday's draw.

The National Lottery contributes approximately £30million weekly to various causes, supporting arts, sports, community groups and British heritage sites.

Since its 1994 launch, the National Lottery has generated more than £50billion for good causes and distributed over £95billion in prizes.

It has created more than 7,000 millionaires and multi-millionaires.

The win follows a family syndicate who scooped a staggering £216million jackpot.

The anonymous winners from Cork in Ireland collected their life-changing €250million prize at Lotto HQ this week.

They have vowed to stay humble and grounded following their historic win.

"I'll still be having my favourite ham and cheese sambo for lunch every day", one family member told lottery officials.

Another winner echoed this sentiment, saying: "It will still be ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch."
