



A National Lottery winner has revealed the heartfelt spending commitment he has made after pocketing £1million earlier this month.
Mr R claimed the £1million jackpot in the special Valentine's Day EuroMillions draw on February 14.
The win came just one week after another Kent resident, known only as Mr B, secured £106,738.50 on the EuroMillions draw on February 7.
The pair are now planning their futures with their unexpected windfalls.

A holiday is also on the cards for the fortunate winner.
His win was one of approximately nine million prizes awarded each week through National Lottery games.
Mr R's win came just days later through a Lucky Dip ticket in the special February 14 draw.
His first purchase with the £1million prize was practical - new tools for his job.
Mr R is hoping to use the money to pay of his parents' mortgage

The Kent winner has generous plans for his newfound wealth.
He intends to help his parents pay off their mortgage.
Mr R is also looking to secure his own future on the property ladder.
He plans to buy his own home with some of his winnings.
Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at Allwyn which runs The National Lottery, expressed delight at the Kent residents' good fortune.
"It is amazing news. What an incredible win for these lucky Kent winners," he said.

The wins are among approximately nine million prizes awarded through National Lottery games each week.
Each week, National Lottery players help generate around £30million for funded projects across the UK.
The money supports various sectors including arts, sports and local community groups.
It also helps preserve iconic British landmarks.
To date, more than 700,000 grants have been awarded through National Lottery funding.
