Two lucky lottery winners have yet to claim their £1 million prizes from the Valentine's Day EuroMillions draw that created 14 millionaires.

While 12 winners have already come forward to claim their prizes within a week of the draw, the National Lottery is still searching for two missing millionaires.

One of the unclaimed winning tickets was purchased in-store, while the other winner played online.

Players are now being urged to check their tickets and online accounts.

The National Lottery has advised the paper ticket holder to check their ticket in-store or scan it using the National Lottery app.

Winners should then call the National Lottery line on 0333 234 5050 to make their claim.

For the online player, the advice is to check their emails and log into their National Lottery account before contacting the lottery line.

After two weeks, if a major prize above £50,000 remains unclaimed, Allwyn's security team will release details of the area where the winning in-store ticket was purchased.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, said: "We love paying out all our National Lottery winners and it really got our pulses racing to know that we would have the opportunity to pay out 14 millionaires from the special Valentine's Day draw.

"With 12 of these 14 prizes already having been claimed within a week of the draw, it leaves just these two would-be millionaires with the opportunity to have that incredible moment of realisation that they have just become millionaires!"

"Are you an online player or someone that pops to their local shop? Either way, it's time to check," he added.

Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.

In separate EuroMillions news, the £65,341,620 jackpot from Valentine’s night draw has already been claimed by a UK ticket-holder.

The draw was designed as a special occasion, with EuroMillions creating 14 guaranteed UK millionaires.

Every EuroMillions line played in the UK automatically receives a "millionaire maker" code printed on the ticket.

The National Lottery's work extends beyond creating millionaires, with players generating approximately £30 million weekly for various UK projects.
