Two migrants have died after getting into difficulties in the English Channel, according to French authorities.

It comes days after <a href="https://www.gbnews.com/news/migrant-crisis-one-dead-small-boat-trouble-deadly-channel-crossing" target="_blank">another migrant died</a> when embarking on the 21-mile journey from France to England.

The boat, which was carrying around 80 migrants, attempted to cross the Channel over the course of Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
