London Liverpool Street station has been evacuated as police are "dealing with an incident" which has left trains severely disrupted in the lead up to the busy Christmas period.

The station was evacuated after a suspicious bag was discovered, according to Network Rail. 

Train service Greater Anglia shared online: "Due to the police dealing with an incident at London Liverpool Street some lines are blocked."Train services running to and from this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until further notice."
