King Charles and Queen Camilla have bid farewell to Donald Trump at Windsor Castle.

The Windsor Castle detachment of the King’s Guard turned out in the Quadrangle for the ceremonial goodbye.

The President of the US is heading to Chequers where he will be met by the Prime Minister and Lady Starmer, and greeted with a Guard of Honour from RAF Halton and bagpipers.

The President and the Prime Minister will view the Sir Winston Churchill archives held at Chequers, before having a bilateral meeting.

The Prime Minister and the President will then join a business reception, hosted by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, where Donald Trump and Sir Keir Starmer will deliver remarks.

The President and the Prime Minister will then take part in a planned press conference at Chequers.

After the President’s departure from Windsor Castle, Queen Camilla and the First Lady will tour Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Royal Library at Windsor Castle.

The First Lady will then join the Princess of Wales at Frogmore Gardens to meet the Chief Scout, Dwayne Fields, and members of the Scouts’ Squirrels programme as they learn about nature to achieve their ‘Go Wild’ badge.

Princess Kate has been the Joint President of the Scout Association since 2020.

Melania Trump will then travel to Chequers, to join Donald Trump.

At the conclusion of the visit, Lord Chamberlain will bid farewell to the Trumps on behalf of King Charles, before they depart the UK.
