Joe Biden has made an unbelievable gaffe in his first speech since moving out of the White House.
Before he focused his aim on the incumbent President and Elon Musk, Biden deployed an offensive term for African-Americans as he delivered a speech on social security.
Speaking to crowds about why he wanted to get involved in politics, the Democrat recalled moments from his childhood and growing up in Scranton - discussing the split ideologies which projected him into the business of public service.
"I’d never seen... hardly any black people in Scranton at the time, and I was only going to fourth grade,” he said, addressing crowds of his supporters.

"And I remember seeing the kids going by at the time, called coloured kids on a bus going by..."
The term "coloured" to describe black people is now deemed highly offensive.
Following the awkward blunder, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said: "I’m shocked that he is speaking at night time.
"I thought his bedtime was much earlier than his speech tonight."
