Royal expert Michael Cole has claimed that the "stock market is like the Ritz hotel" during a debate over foreign investment in the UK.

Speaking to GB News he said: "The thing is the the British stock market is open to everybody, like the Ritz Hotel. If you've got the money, you can buy the shares and ultimate, you can take control of any British listed company. This is nothing new. It's been going on for years."
