An illegal migrant who had been deported from America numerous times has been charged with murdering six people in a horrific car accident.
Norberto Celerino faces six counts of murder relating to a crash on September 7 when he was allegedly driving under the influence (DUI) in Napa County, California, according to the District Attorney.
The 53-year-old, who also goes by the names Norberto (Beto) Celerino Villalva, Grabien Martinez and Roberto Savaringo-Diabla, has already had three DUI charges.
According to the District Attorney's Office, Celerino was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he drove his car into a tree, killing six passengers and severely injuring one other.
Celerino faces six felony counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and a felony count of DUI causing injury with two or more prior DUI convictions.
The two previous convictions were recorded in San Joaquin County in August 2020 and September 2024.
Napa County District Attorney's Office added that a third DUI conviction on his record was more than 10 years old and therefore "cannot statutorily be used to enhance the current charges".
Pedro Lopez Gomez, 57, Fernando Silverio, 34, Demetrio Celerino Francisco, 39, Beymar Reynosa Rodriguez, 32, Aaron Ruiz, 39, and Loreto Ricardo Hernandez, 42, were killed in the crash.

It is understood all of the passengers in the vehicle were farm workers.
According to Jasmin Ricardo - a daughter of one of the men killed, Loreto Ricardo Hernandez - her father and the rest of the victims were on their way to an overnight shift at work.
An Ice spokesman confirmed to KRON4 that Celerino had already been deported multiple times.
They said: "Beto-Cerillo-Bialva... is a criminal alien from Mexico who first entered the United States in 1995.

They added: "[His] continued disregard for the laws within the United States, and California's sanctuary laws, has led to this tragic incident.
"Sanctuary laws continue to place the American public in danger and only protect the criminal aliens."

However, California's Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom hit back.
A furious statement from his office said: "It's clear that this is an attempt to distract from the truth. This individual re-entered the country several times under the federal government's watch. Trump and Miller have little interest in public safety or protecting farm workers."
Writing on a GoFundMe page which has so far raised nearly $12,000 (nearly £9,000) for her father's funeral arrangements, Ms Ricardo said: "What hurts more is that this could've been avoided."
She confirmed that he was laid to rest on October 3.
