



Emily Carver made an emotional admission on GB News today as she prepares to leave the channel for her maternity leave.
The star told The Peoples Channel that she is feeling "very emotional" about leaving, and will "miss her little interactions" with co-star Tom Harwood.
She said: "As I approach maternity leave, i am thinking more about how I will miss our little interactions every day on a daily basis.
"Sometimes our viewers say that I'm a bit mean to Tom sometimes,

"What they don't know is that there's a real relationship. This is far too sentimental.
"Should we get on? I think I'm getting a bit emotional."
The GB News star has spent the weekend celebrating her birthday, and was pleasantly surprised when Tom appeared at her house with a cake.
She said: "It was very sweet of Tom to bring me a cake. I wasn't expecting it.
"I wasn't expecting it to be such an appropriate cake. A little girl, Connie the caterpillar."
Emily revealed she was pregnant with her first child in April, with her husband Patrick Christys later nominating her as “Greatest Briton” on his own GB News show.

Footage of Emily receiving an ultrasound shown to a live GB News audience and the clip was met with applause and whoops.
The baby is due in September, meaning it is only a few months until Emily will be taking a break from Good Afternoon Britain.
Emily and Patrick tied the knot last year before jetting off to Thailand in November for a two-week honeymoon.
She told followers on Instagram: “First time in Thailand - and we absolutely loved it!
