A pro-Palestinian protest has erupted outside King's College London as activists chanted about honouring "martyrs".

Footage circulating on social media showed hand-clapping demonstrators congregating with placards and Palestinian flags.

The 10-second video showed protesters chanting: "We will honour all our martyrs."

Demonstrators gathered outside the Russell Group university amid growing calls for a ceasefire and ahead of another controversial pro-Gaza march on Remembrance Day.

Pro-Palestine protesters have escalated since Hamas brutally attacked Israel on October 7.

The onslaught resulted in 1,400 Israelis being killed and 200 being taken hostage.

Responsive attacks by the IDF took the death toll of Palestinians in Gaza above 10,000, the Hamas-run Health Ministry has claimed.
