Google is taking an unusual approach to drum up interest in its next Pixel showcase. While archnemesis Apple likes to keep everything in the works under lock and key until its keynote, Google has slowly been teasing the new designs of its Android handsets in the weeks running up to the launch. We've from Google — and now, we've clapped eyes on the successor to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
The US search firm even shared an advert that .
The latest YouTube video from Google takes you on a visual journey across the device's sleek design, showcasing its sophisticated grey finish and giving you a complete view of the expansive inner screen. An unseen narrator cleverly plays on the foldable concept, highlighting how you'll experience the joy of unboxing your new device twice - first when you open the package, then when you unfold the phone itself.
You can watch the teaser trailer for yourself below:
The teaser reveals that you'll be getting a design that closely mirrors last year's Pixel 9 Pro Fold, featuring the same rounded corners and flat edges that Google has become known for with its other phone models.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice the as-yet-unannounced device sports what appears to be the rumoured "Moonstone" colour option — a new grey-blue shade that Google has already teased for its standard in the new series.

The video provides a clear look at the camera housing on the rear panel, where you can spot a triple-lens system prominently displayed. The floating camera bar design remains intact, maintaining Google's minimalistic design approach seen in prior models.
You'll also catch glimpses of the refined hinge mechanism that creates the fold in the phone, along with the device's flat display surfaces.
The Google Pixel 10 series is expected to be powered by Google's custom-designed Tensor G5 chip system-on-a-chip, which would use a 3-nanometre process, promising better power efficiency and a decent performance boost. That should result in Android apps launching faster, speedier AI tasks, and more headroom for years of software updates to come. That's good news, since Google promises at least seven years of Android operating system updates, security patches, and feature updates with all of its new Pixel handsets.
That speedier processor will enable deeper Google Gemini AI integration across the operating system, particularly within productivity apps such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. This Artificial Intelligence (AI) can see what's happening on-screen, so it can offer suggestions based on what you're doing.
Samsung has incorporated .
The device is rumoured to potentially be the first foldable smartphone to carry an IP68 certification. If this is true, then it means it will be completely dustproof and protected against prolonged immersion in water deeper than one meter.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to have a 6.4-inch cover display, while the camera setup may include a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom capabilities. When there is an increased number of megapixels, photos are taken in higher quality.
The foldable will reportedly pack 16GB of RAM with storage options extending up to 1TB, which can hold thousands of photos and videos.
While the Made by Google 2025 event is merely a week away, reports fromindicate the Pixel 10 Pro Fold might not reach consumers until October.
The anticipated delayed release timeline would follow a pattern seen with previous Pixel foldables, where announcement and availability dates have been separated by several weeks.
