Just Stop Oil has shared footage of a supposed activist openly "fare dodging" before sending an expletive message to Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick.

The activist group posted a video on social media showing an individual barging their way through TfL’s (Transport for London’s) ticket barrier without paying the charge.

The X account then tagged Robert Jenrick with the caption: "Get f***ed".

Robert Jenrick replied: "Thanks for bringing this to my attention", and tagged British Transport Police alongside the Metropolitan Police.

The post references the Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick's previous video, where he comforted fare dodgers in London.

In a shocking moment, one lawbreaker appeared to threaten to whip out a knife after telling Jenrick to “f**k off”.

“Do you think it’s alright not to pay?”, asked Jenrick after the individual was caught red-handed barging through a barrier.

"Seriously, why don’t you go back and pay?"

The group's post sparked widespread backlash online, with users questioning the illegal actions taken.

In response, JSO argued that train tickets across Britain are too high.

They wrote: "A train from Manchester to Kings Cross will set you back £150, and a corrupt Tory MP is more worried about people skipping a £4 tube fare. Public transport stops pollution. It should be free."

The group added: "What increases ticket prices is the private companies price-gouging. Only the elites can afford to take the train now. People actually trying to do their bit on emissions are left with no choice. It's literally cheaper to fly to Spain. What if we demanded free public transport?"

JSO's antics over the past three years have ranged from chucking soup at paintings to interrupting theatre performances.

The group has also attacked British landmarks, including chucking cornflour paint at Stonehenge and spraying Wellington Arch with an orange hue.

Five supporters of the group were handed multiyear sentences for planning road-block protests on the M25.

Over 40 protesters climbed gantries on the motorway in November 2022, attempting to cause gridlock, prompting police intervention to stop traffic.
