Georgia Hunter Bell has revealed what it was like to share the podium with teammate Keely Hodgkinson after a nail-biting Athletics World Championships final.

The British Sporting star admitted there was a moment when she thought she would win gold before being edged out by Kenya’s Lillian Odier.

But she said standing alongside Ms Hodgkinson, marking the first time in 18 years two British women had medalled in the same event, was “really special”.

Ms Hunter Bell proudly showed off her silver medal and said the experience was “a feeling like no other.”
