



GB News National Reporter Charlie Peters has seen off some of the biggest names in British television to win Best News Presenter at the 56th Television and Radio Industries Club (Tric) Awards.
In a proud moment for the People’s Channel, Charlie’s work uncovering the extensive operations of grooming gangs across Britain and giving the victims a platform to be heard was deservedly rewarded.
His critical investigation into the scandal included the groundbreaking documentary Grooming Gangs: Britain’s Shame.
Charlie's work has led to the Government opting to launch a national inquiry into the scandal after a period of sustained pressure.

The People's Channel's National Reporter beat Dan Walker, Fiona Bruce and Susanna Reid to the gong, three voices synonymous with the British media landscape.
In accepting the award, Charlie dedicated it to survivors and those with the courage to speak out.
He thanked viewers for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to uncovering the truth.
Charlie’s recognition reflects GB News’s dedication to investigative reporting.
Accepting his award, Peters dedicated the win “to the victims,” adding emotionally: “The fight for justice must go on - and it will.”
