GB News presenter Beverley Turner has shared details of her extraordinary experience accompanying President Donald Trump on Air Force One during his journey to Scotland.

Bev joined the American president on his flight from Maryland to meet Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in Scotland and visit his golf properties.

Bev, who is preparing to launch a new late-night programme broadcasting from America this September, described her anticipation before the historic flight.

Last night, after arriving at her hotel she said: "I have to say, the journey from Glasgow Prestwick Airport to here was by far the most thrilling part of this whole experience.

"We had the motorcycles with us, zooming through the streets of Scotland, not stopping at lights or roundabouts.

"It was amazing all the crowds lining the streets just to take pictures and wave at the vehicles.

"I'll be back here tomorrow, hopefully to see Donald Trump again. I got to talk to him when we came off the plane, which was brilliant.

"He answered two of my questions on immigration and free speech and I thought he gave really strong answers.

"He said, unequivocally, that 'migration is killing Europe' and that 'you have to get your act together.' Very direct.

"I’d honestly rather be in the bar behind me right now than in the car park but not long and I’ll be at my hotel."

When asked about guidance for the Prime Minister regarding free speech, Trump offered measured praise for Starmer.

"I like your Prime Minister. He is slightly more liberal than I am as you have probably heard. But he is a good man who got a trade deal done," the President stated.

Bev's immigration question prompted a forceful response from the President, who delivered an urgent message to European leaders.

"On immigration you better get your act together or you're not going to have Europe anymore," Trump declared.

The President characterised the situation as a "horrible invasion" threatening the continent's future.

"You've got to stop this horrible invasion that is happening to Europe, many countries in Europe," he stated, whilst acknowledging that certain leaders had successfully resisted the trend without receiving adequate recognition.

"I could name them to you right now, but I'm not going to embarrass the other ones. But stop, this immigration is killing Europe," Trump concluded.

The Late show Live programme will broadcast nightly from the United States, with Bev at the helm bringing British viewers closer to American political developments.
