Psalm 103 says our lives are like grass or flowers flourishing for a time, then gone, with even our place remembering us no more.

On its own, this could feel bleak, but the psalm continues with the promise that God’s love is everlasting.

By connecting ourselves to Him, our lives gain eternal significance beyond the fleeting nature of this world.
