Pride is the perfectly human tendency to think too much of oneself, leading to self-promotion or thinking of ourselves too lowly.

But humility is recognising one's own nothingness in the light of God's greatness, surrendering completely to His will.

It is the humble who will be exalted and receive glory given to them by God.
