Five people have been injured - with two in critical condition - after a mass stabbing in the French city of Metz.

The incident is reported to have taken place outside a grocery store in the Borny district of the city in the North East of France.

The attack took place around 10.15am and the victims are all reported to be young people.The perpetrators are reported to have fled the scene and are now on the run.
