Eamonn fumed: “Why do you read this as if it’s actually serious news? Your woman, Meghan Markle, is making a cooking programme that no one has ever watched.
"And then we’re also saying not only is she making that cooking programme, but her husband where’s he? Well, he’s not in it.”
Ellie said: “But did you hear?”
Eamonn fumed in response: “No. And I don’t care either.”
She continued: “He doesn’t like lobster.”
Eamonn said: “What has that got to do with the price of bread?”
The new series is expected to hit screens at the end of August

She said: “That’s the big revelation from this trailer.”
Eamonn said: “Well, that’s the best we’re going to get.”
He added: “Forgive my cynicism with this. I don’t care about her, and I don’t care about her cooking programme. Does that make me really odd?”
The 44-year-old former actress posted the preview on Instagram, writing: "The best moments are made to be shared. With Love, Meghan returns August 26th on @netflix."
Celebrity participants in the upcoming episodes include model Chrissy Teigen and podcaster Jamie Kern Lima, who is described as the duchess's close friend. Motivational speaker Jay Shetty will also make an appearance.
The programme features cooking, baking, pottery and various craft activities. Production continues at a rented estate in Montecito, situated near the residence the duchess occupies with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have secured a continuation of their partnership with Netflix, despite their initial five-year agreement approaching its conclusion in September.
The streaming platform announced on Monday that the couple had agreed to a "multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects".
This arrangement requires them to present programme concepts to Netflix before approaching rival broadcasters.
