



Donald Trump signed a document Tuesday stopping US engagement with the United Nations Human Rights Council, claiming the country's funding is "disproportionate".
The document also continued a stop to funding for the UN Palestinian relief agency UNRWA.
Biden’s administration had initially paused funding to UNRWA, following reports that staff members were involved in the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel.
"The US funding to the UN is excessive and unfair," Trump said while signing the order.

He signed these documents during an event at the White House Oval Office.
This comes minutes before President Trump is set to meet with Israeli Prime MInister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington.
