A peace deal in Ukraine has failed to be agreed following three hours of talks between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.

Despite the lack of deal in place, the US President said that the meeting was productive and the pair had "made headway". 

The Russian leader concluded the press conference by suggesting the next round of talks could be held in Moscow.
