US President Donald Trump has been accused of sending Jeffrey Epstein a "bawdy birthday note" for his 50th birthday.
The document, which was included in a leather-bound album belonging to Epstein's former girlfriend and convicted sex trafficker, Ghislaine Maxwell, was allegedly accompanied by a drawing of a naked woman.
It was examined by justice department officials investigating Epstein, a convicted paedophile, The Wall Street Journal reported.
However, Trump declared it was a "fake Wall Street Journal story" and vowed to sue the American newspaper over its report.
The letter is reported to have been written by typewriter and the text is said to have been framed by the outline of a naked woman in permanent marker.
Trump's signature is supposedly positioned below her waist, in place of her pubic hair.
“A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret,” the letter said.
The Wall Street Journal said that the letter was sent to mark Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003.

The letter imagines a cryptic conversation between the pair, where Trump tells Epstein "we have certain things in common, Jeffrey".
Despite vowing to sue The Wall Street Journal, Trump is already currently facing rare backlash from his devoted group of supporters who have demanded the release of all justice department files related to Epstein.
However, Trump maintains that the letter is "fake" and unequivocally denies penning the letter.
"This is not me. This is a fake thing. It’s a fake Wall Street Journal story ," Trump said.

Trump has threatened to sue The Wall Street Journal
"I never wrote a picture in my life. I don't draw pictures of women. It's not my language. it's not my words."
The US President added: "I'm going to sue The Wall Street Journal just like I sued everyone else".
He slammed the newspaper in a post made on his Truth Social platform on Thursday evening.
"The press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don't even exist," Trump said.
"(The Wall Street Journal) has truly turned out to be a disgusting and filthy rag and, writing defamatory lies like this, shows their desperation to remain relevant."
US Vice President JD Vance echoed his boss's claims on social media, posting that it was "complete and utter bulls**t".
"The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it," he said.
"Where is the letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it. Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?"
It comes as White House Officials ruled out releasing further records relating to Epstein, claiming there was no conspiracy surrounding the sex offender's death.
The decision has caused splits among Trump's supporters, with the President calling some "weaklings" who had fallen "hook, line and sinker" for a Democrat narrative.
"It's all been a big hoax," he said.
"It's perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans will fall into the net."
