Diplomats from across the world have stormed out of the UN General Assembly as Benjamin Netanyahu began his speech.

Before the Israeli Prime Minister began speaking, several individuals present in the hall walked out.

The chair repeatedly said “please, order in the hall” and banged his gavel.

The Israeli Prime Minister also said that on his orders, troops are broadcasting his speech to Palestinians in Gaza from loudspeakers mounted on trucks on the Israeli side of the border.

He spoke first in Hebrew and then in English, a message directed to hostages in the Hamas-controlled territory.

Mr Netanyahu then used his address to "denounce" the leaders of countries who have recognised a Palestinian state.

The Middle Eastern leader reminded the world of Hamas’s actions on October 7 2023, where the deadliest in Israel's history saw the number killed 31 times as large as in the next most fatal attack in 1978.

He said Israel had “devastated” Iran’s atomic weapons and ballistic missiles programme and had also "hammered" the Houthis, "crushed the bulk of Hamas” and "crippled" Hezbollah.

He claimed that many world leaders who have condemned the actions of Israel have privately sided with him.
