NextImg:Costa Coffee welcomes back 'must-anticipated seasonal favourite' – how to get an exclusive first taste

Britain's beloved Costa Coffee has revealed that its popular Maple Hazel Iced Latte will make its seasonal comeback, with loyal customers receiving privileged early access.

The "much-anticipated seasonal favourite" combines toasted hazelnut notes with maple's "smooth sweetness", poured over ice and crowned with airy whipped topping and crisp biscuit pieces.

This autumnal offering arrives as British consumers seek refreshments that bridge the gap between late summer warmth and approaching autumn coolness.

Costa Coffee, which proudly holds the title of the nation's favourite coffee shop, has chosen to reward its most dedicated patrons with first access to the returning menu item.

The chain announced today that Costa Club members can enjoy the autumnal beverage on Thursday, August 21, ahead of its general release.

Iced latte fans who are not part of Costa's loyalty programme must wait around one week longer, until it's offered to the masses in early September.

"Autumn is arriving early this year with the return of the Maple Hazel Iced Latte, and we're celebrating by rewarding our Costa Club members with an exclusive first taste," said Costa Coffee's global food and beverage innovation director, Nishant Bhatia.

He described the creation as "a deliciously cosy-meets-cool drink that is the perfect bridge between late summer and the first signs of autumn".

The carefully crafted beverage represents Costa's response to British consumers' desire for seasonal treats that acknowledge the transitional weather patterns typical of late August.

This latest offering demonstrates Costa's commitment to rewarding customer loyalty while maintaining its position as a cornerstone of British high street culture.

With autumn creeping up on us, Christmas isn't too far behind it. Shoppers were recently divided when Christmas chocolates were spotted in B&M.

Guylian chocolate advent calendars landed on shelves just days ago, generating plenty of conversation on social media.

While some were absolutely elated, others couldn't believe the festive treat was already out.

"For crying out loud, it is only August! Some of us haven't had our summer holiday yet," one commenter protested.

In total disagreement, another rejoiced: "OMG, please say this is real, my fave ever chocs."
