



The Israeli embassy in the Netherlands has been evacuated after a "burning object" was "hurled" at the building.
Roads outside the embassy in in The Hague have been closed down while police attend the scene.
Local media reports the immediate surroundings of the building are cordoned off with fences and black cloth.
Dutch police have confirmed they have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson from the local police said: "Around 10.50am someone threw a burning object from #JohandeWittlaan in #DenHaag towards the Israeli embassy.
"We have arrested a suspect. There are no injuries. We are investigating and there is a large cordon around the embassy."
