A single British ticketholder has scooped £26million in the EuroMillions jackpot, National Lottery operator Allwyn has said.

The winning numbers were: 06, 12, 18, 25, 41.

The lucky stars were: 02, 06.

The estimated jackpot had been £25million.

One UK millionaire has been created in the Millionaire Maker Selection with the code VDVZ96056.

Friday night's National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers were: 07, 16, 26, 31, 37.

The Thunderball was 01.

The UK has the highest number of EuroMillions jackpot winners, with 47.

This equates to 26.7 per cent of total wins, compare to France's 21 per cent and Spain's 19.3 per cent.

The highest jackpot ever won was snatched on August 19th of this year when a lucky winner in France took home £216,150,000.

Large jackpots have seemingly become more common, with the five biggest wins all coming within the last four months.
