Political Theorist Ralph Schoellhammer has claimed that the youth of today in Britain are facing a "moral and social decline" as a result of the coronavirus lockdown.
Speaking to Neil Oliver on GB News, Schoellhammer explained: "What made it so frustrating is apparently there was the sincere belief that children don't need social contact. Particularly at the most important stages of development - 15, 16, puberty, their first love, first beer in the pub with your friends, this was taken away from that generation.
"That is, as somebody say, this is not just a crime. This is a mistake. Because as you correctly pointed out, you stunt the healthy social development of these young people. And if you look for those of your viewers who are not that often on social media, but there is also this wave of violence among young people and especially girls, right?
"You see all these videos of young girls beating each other up and kind of the young guy standing next to it, filming it on their phones but not intervening. There is and this is a sign of, of kind of a social decline, of a moral decline. But I think that a lot of what we saw in recent months and recent years were just the symptoms."
