Britain is headed for civil war because it has a "problem with radical Islam", an ally of Donald Trump has said.
Steve Bannon delivered his damning verdict at a conference in Washington on Thursday.
He cited the conflict in Ukraine and said the world was in the "kinetic part" of World War Three.
"England is heading to a civil war as we speak and Nigel Farage, the rise of the populist party over there, Reform is not going to stop it," he said.
Mr Bannon referenced the rapid spread of Union Jack and St George's flags being displayed on Britain's streets thanks to the "Operation Raise the Colours" online movement.
"You see them putting these English flags up, the cross of St George that just occurred out of nowhere. It is heading there, he added.
"Why? They have a problem with radical Islam, that they have not dealt with and it is metastasising and getting worse and it is the same in France."
Mr Bannon was White House chief strategist during the first seven months of the Mr Trump's first administration.
He was influential in major decisions like the 2017 US withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement.
Mr Bannon added that the biggest existential threat to Israel did not come from Iran but instead from New York City, where could-be mayor Zohran Mamdani has been known to be critical of Israel.
