Viewers of the 2025 Brit Awards were left utterly baffled on Saturday night when cameras panned to what appeared to be a horse sitting in the audience.
The mysterious equine guest was spotted next to EastEnders icon Danny Dyer during the live broadcast from London's O2 Arena.
Dyer's expletive-lade rant at the expense of prime minister Keir Starmer was not enough to distract viewers from the bizarre sight.
Sat beside the Cockney star was what seemed to be a woman wearing a life-like horse mask featuring a white love heart on the forehead and a striking red dress with matching hood.
The unusual pairing quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the evening, with hordes of fans taking to social media to share their astonishment.

Another exclaimed: "I thought I was tripping balls when I saw a HORSE sitting beside Danny Dyer."

Thankfully, they didn't have to wait long as eagle-eyed fans were able to dispel worries of mass hallucination and identify her.
The mystery figure was actually German DJ and singer HorsegiirL, who famously conceals her identity behind a horse head mask.
She claims her full name is Stella Stallion, supposedly a horse "from the animal world that grew up on Sunshine Farms".

The anonymous musician previously described herself as "half-horse, half-human" in an interview with Vogue journalist Daniel Rodgers in November 2023.
She is known for her 2023 hit single "My Barn My Rules", which became a viral sensation on TikTok.
The song was at the centre of controversy when DJ Arielle Free, who was also at the Brits, was suspended from BBC Radio 1 after publicly criticising it.
Free was pulled off air during a guest slot on Radio 1 Ibiza's show after telling co-star Charlie Hedges: "I hate it."
