



A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death shortly before midnight on New Year's eve near to popular London viewpoint to watch fireworks.
The teenager was killed near Primrose Hill in Camden which was busy with people watching fireworks at the time of the incident.
Police were called to the scene at 11.40pm on Sunday but the boy died of his injuries shortly before midnight.
A male has been arrested on suspicion of the boy's murder and has been remanded in police custody.
A cordon remains in the area as police officers stand guard at every entrance to the park.
The park is not an official viewing area for London's New Year fireworks but was busy with people at the time.
Officers say the boy’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Thousands of people gathered in the capital to watch the display of fireworks this year - which lasted for 12 minutes.
