Police have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of murdering a woman who was stabbed to death on a beach in Bournemouth.

Emergency services were called to Durley Chine Beach last Friday where a 34-year-old woman died at the scene.

A 38-year-old woman with serious injuries remains in hospital.

Dorset Police said the man, from Croydon, London, was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
