Boots has nearly doubled the number of stores offering rapid home delivery, with customers now able to order from almost 500 locations across the UK.

The health and beauty retailer has expanded its on-demand service from 250 stores, letting millions of people get their essentials delivered straight to their door in minutes.

People can now browse through more than 10,000 products on delivery apps and have them arrive in as little as half an hour.

The service first launched with Deliveroo back in 2021, before adding Uber Eats in 2023. Selected stores also offer delivery through Just Eat.

Whether you're battling a sudden cold, need baby supplies urgently, or forgot to pick up your regular skin care favourites, Boots can now deliver to your doorstep through Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

It's a big win for anyone who needs health items urgently or simply wants the convenience of quick delivery for their favourite beauty products.

The retailer offers its full range of products through these apps, from everyday medicines to premium beauty brands.

Currently, the most popular items flying off the virtual shelves include pregnancy tests from brands like Clearblue and Boots' own-label.

Baby essentials, including formula and biodegradable wipes, are the second most in demand.

When illness strikes, customers also turn to the service for quick relief. Cold and flu remedies like Lemsip Max, Covid tests, and hay fever treatments such as Allevia are among the retailer's bestsellers.

People also order thrush treatments, upset stomach relief from Pepto Bismol, and acne solutions like Hero Mighty Patch Duo.

Chief data and digital officer at Boots, Paula Bobbett, highlighted the importance of supporting busy modern lifestyles.

"Our customers love the convenience of being able to order their health and beauty items to their homes, on the go, and when they're in urgent need," she said.

Katie Hunter, general manager for grocery and retail at Uber UK, added: "As the UK's leading delivery platform, we're thrilled to partner with Boots to power the national rollout of on-demand delivery.

"Customers are increasingly using Uber Eats to get anything, and extending this service will mean high-quality health and beauty products being delivered across the nation in minutes.

"The wide range of Boots products our customers are now opting to have delivered – from medicines to gifting or beauty essentials – showcases how deeply the convenience of one-tap ordering is becoming part of everyday life."
