



Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters have been called to a building fire on High Street in Beckenham.
The blaze broke out near an Odeon cinema in the South London town.
The London Fire Brigade has urged the public to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed due to smoke travel.
A member of the public recorded a video of the blaze around 8:30 this morning.
Thick black smoke can be seen spreading across the area.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire on the upper levels remains under investigation.
The cinema is home to six screens.
GB News has approached the London Fire Brigade for a comment.

The High Street contains over 100 shops and restaurants, including the cinema complex.
