August may be over, but Britons can still enjoy a taste of summer thanks to Aldi's latest creations.
The supermarket will start rolling out its brand-new frozen dessert collection across the country on September 15, with more to follow in October.
Available from Monday, the discount retailer will transform three classic cakes into scoopable delights, costing just £2.49 per 500ml tub.
Among the tasty new Cake-Inspired Ice Cream Tubs is the Cherry Bakewell, combining almond and pastry-flavoured ice cream with buttery pastry chunks.
Red Velvet fans can enjoy Aldi's "creamy twist on a classic", featuring vanilla sponge-flavoured ice cream, rich cocoa red velvet frosting, and baked sponge pieces.
Rounding out the trio is the Birthday Cake, where vanilla sponge ice cream meets marshmallow and raspberry swirls, complete with cake bits and colourful sprinkles on top – "a party in every tub".
Each flavour offers a "nostalgic trip down memory lane" for those who grew up on the classic treats.
Aldi is also jumping on the Angel Hair chocolate trend that's been taking social media by storm, introducing its very own Gamberina Angel Hair Ice Cream

The £3.99 tub mixes creamy ice cream with white chocolate, pistachio, and pink candy floss, topped with freeze-dried raspberries.
The supermarket's Specially Selected collection is also getting two fresh additions (both in 480ml tubs), although shoppers will have to wait until October 13 to try them.
A Lemon & Pistachio variety promises to be a "zesty showstopper", boasting Sicilian lemon, smooth pistachio, and roasted almonds for just £2.39.
Chocolate enthusiasts can snap up the Chocolate & Orange variety at the same price. It features creamy chocolate ice cream with sweet orange notes and dark chocolate swirls running through it.

At £3.49 for six "bite-sized delights", these chewy Japanese-style desserts are positioned as "perfect for snacking and sharing".
In more exciting news for sweet-toothed shoppers, a beloved Cadbury's chocolate bar has been spotted in Iceland for the first time in a decade.
