‘Needle Spiking’ Surges Across Europe

What’s going on in France and the UK?

The New York Times reported Monday that 145 people across France, including 13 in Paris, claimed they had been stabbed with needles at an annual nationwide music festival last Saturday.

Investigations were opened after three people, including a 15-year-old girl and an 18-year-old male, reported being stabbed in different locations in Paris, prosecutors said. All three reported that they felt unwell. Some victims were taken to the hospital for toxicological tests.

The Fête de la Musique is an annual event in France when musicians perform in public spaces and free concerts across the country as well as in France’s overseas territories. Before the festival, posts reportedly circulated on social media calling for such attacks on women, according to Le Monde.

While the number of alleged victims is tiny compared to the millions who attended the festival events across France, Laurent Nunez, the Paris prefect of police, said in an interview that the police were taking reports seriously. “This is not a new phenomenon,” he said.

The reports were among a number of episodes in recent years in which people have reported being injected without their knowledge or consent in crowded spaces like clubs or bars. Similar syringe attacks were reported in 2022 at music events, with hundreds of complaints in French cities like Nantes and Grenoble.

A 2022 British Parliament report said there had been more than 1,000 cases of needle attacks in that country between September 2021 and the end of December 2022. The report, a survey of more than 3,000 victims and witnesses, cited police data showing that about 90% of such incidents occurred at night in venues like pubs and nightclubs. The report also noted that there could be many more attacks that are unreported.

Dr. Adam R. Winstock, a founder of the Global Drug Survey, which studies drug trends, downplayed needle spiking as a “remarkably rare event” and “not the biggest threat out there.”

And yet twelve people were arrested in connection with the stabbings, so this phenomenon is rooted in some degree of reality and not just an urban legend. Two men were arrested in Metz; one, aged 20 with a violent history, was caught with a syringe, and a victim identified the other. They are believed to have targeted around 50 victims.

As Buffalo Springfield sang, “There’s something happenin’ here; what it is ain’t exactly clear.” Is it a growing trend among sexual predators slipping women some form of a date-rape drug? Not all the victims are women. Is it the onset or test runs of a new form of jihad in Europe, injecting young Westerners with something toxic? That’s not unthinkable. There’s not enough information to go on yet, but one thing is clear: Europe’s Old World charm has degenerated into a dangerous, Third World decadence.

Stupidity Surges on ‘The View’

When the hostesses of the inexplicably long-running ABC daytime gabfest The View spout some inane political commentary, it’s hardly man-bites-dog news. But they may have outdone themselves this last week with statements of such sheer idiocy that, for America’s sake, it may be time for us to consider scrapping the First Amendment and The View with it.

First, ringleader Whoopi Goldberg had the unadulterated gall to argue last Wednesday that blacks in America are just as oppressed as women in Iran. She was responding to the show’s token “conservative” Alyssa Farah Griffin, who noted that “the Iranians literally throw gay people off of buildings. They don’t adhere to basic human rights.”

This triggered Whoopi, who needs precious little urging to launch into a loud, arm-flapping rant. “Let’s not do that, because if we start with that, we have been known in this country to tie gay folks to the car. Listen, I’m sorry, they used to just keep hanging black people.”

Griffin tried to protest that the two examples were completely different, stating the obvious: “It’s very different to live in the United States in 2025 than it is to live in Iran.”

“Not if you’re black!” Goldberg shot back, without offering any evidence.

“Not for everybody!” race-mongering, America-hating co-hostess Sunny Hostin chimed in.

“Guys, don’t go to Tehran,” said Griffin. “Do not. No one at this table can go to Tehran.” A moment later she added, “Nobody wants to diminish the very real problems we have in this country, but I think it’s important we remember there are places much darker than this country.”

“But not everybody feels that way. Not everybody feels that way,” Whoopi insisted. “Listen, I’m sorry, you know, when you think about the fact that we got the vote in 1965 —”

“They don’t have free and fair elections in Iran!” Griffin interrupted. “It’s not even the same universe!”

“You know what, there’s no way I can make you understand,” Goldberg replied, shutting down further discussion. Because you’re not black, was her implication, and my lived black experience, as a celebrity with a net worth of over $60 million, trumps your facts.

Then on Monday, after Trump’s bombing of the Iranian nuclear weapons enrichment facility, purported comedienne Joy Behar seriously asked ABC News chief Jonathan Karl why Trump kept the raid a secret beforehand. This hateful moron Behar makes at least $7 million a year on the show.

In that same episode, the repugnant Sunny Hostin, whose Trump Derangement Syndrome is so severe that she sides with the Iranian mullahs, complained that Trump’s strike on Iran was unconstitutional and violated international law. ABC’s Karl had to set her straight for her hypocrisy.

How is this cavalcade of dumbasses still on the air, you ask? Good question, because The View is only the 81st most popular show – not on all networks combined, but just on ABC alone. Maybe it’s time ABC read the room and tried replacing it with a conservative version.

Christian Genocide Surges Across Africa

While Whoopi wails that no country is any worse than America, Christians are being massacred in places like Syria, where a Greek Orthodox Church was targeted on Sunday by an Islamic suicide bomber who killed at least 25 and injured 63 of the 350 congregants.

In Nigeria, around 200 Christians (the reported numbers aren’t precise) were slain on June 13 by Islamic ethnic Fulani militia in the “worst killing spree” in the region to date.

Shouting “Allahu Akhbar (God is great),” militants commenced an ungodly attack, using fuel to burn the small living quarters, shooting people and attacking with machetes any who tried to escape, multiple international religious liberty advocacy groups reported.

Within two hours, 200 were dead…

Ukuma Jonathan Angbianbee, a local Catholic priest, told ACN he survived by dropping to the floor as the gunshots began.

“What I saw was truly gruesome. People were slaughtered. Corpses were scattered everywhere,” ACN quoted Angbianbee. “When we heard the shots and saw the militants, we committed our lives to God. This morning, I thank God I am alive.”

One witness told Christian Broadcasting News it was “not just slaughtering, not just macheting, (but) they locked some people up… and then doused them with gasoline and then set them ablaze. Babies were burned.”

Nigeria, the most populated country in Africa and the deadliest in the world for Christians, has witnessed the murder of over 62,000 Christians since the rise of genocidal Islamist groups like Boko Haram, Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), and Fulani militias.

But hey, multi-millionaire Whoopi says America’s just as bad for black people. If only she could make you understand.
