NextImg:Tim Walz Launches Presidential Campaign by Announcing He's a Chinese Operative

Bold strategy, let’s see how it works out for him.

Back when Kamala first picked Gov. Tim Walz as her VP, Freedom Center Investigates immediately had an expose on his 30-year relationship with China.

Walz’s Chinese career began after graduating college when he took a position teaching in China where the future congressman, governor and vice presidential nominee claimed that “no matter how long I live, I will never be treated that well again.”

Walz’s student trips to China were subsidized by the Chinese government. According to a newspaper article at the time, Walz had the idea while working in the Communist country and a “friend helped contact the authorities and funding came through from the government.”

The “friend” worked in China’s Foreign Affairs Department which is routinely used to recruit foreigners.

“Walz has always been fascinated by Communist China,” a news story claimed. “He remembers from his childhood pictures of Mao Tse-Tung hung in public places and carried in parades.”

Once in Congress, Rep. Walz continued going back to China and meeting with Chinese figures.

In 2013, he became the Vice Ranking and then Ranking Member on the Congressional-Executive Commission on China.

As governor, Walz continued pandering to China. In a letter, he claimed that “the state has promoted Minnesota’s connections with China and hosted numerous senior Chinese leaders for decades.”

And apparently he’s done playing coy.

At an event for the far left Center for American Progress, Walz responded to Israel’s attack against Iran’s nuclear program by touting the moral superiority of China.

“Iran has to retaliate in their mind I’m sure and now, who is the voice in the world that can negotiate some kind type agreement in this? Who holds the moral authority…we are not seen as a natural actor…it might be the Chinese,” Walz said.

It’s challenging to begin a response defending Iran’s attack on Israel and not have that be the single worst thing you said, but Walz also managed to run down America, suggest that we don’t have moral authority and that China does.

Hopefully Tim’s bosses in Beijing are pleased. I can’t imagine anyone else is.
