Three more counts were thrown out of the political election interference case against former President Trump. With the charges down to 12 from 91, due to dubious legal theories and inept filing by the prosecution, the Georgia wing of the Democrat lawfare campaign against the Republican looks worse than ever.

DA Fanni Willis, enmeshed in multiple scandals, chose to duck a Georgia Senate subpoena and refused to answer questions about her conduct.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to defy a subpoena by a Georgia state Senate committee investigating her conduct.

The subpoenas, issued by the State Senate Special Committee on Investigations, seek Willis’ testimony and documents related to her ongoing investigation into 2020 election interference and her relationship with Nathan Wade, a former special prosecutor. Willis filed for an injunction to halt the subpoenas, which demanded her appearance at a hearing on Friday.

“I will not appear to anything that is unlawful, and I have not broken the law,” Willis previously told FOX 5’s Rob DiRienzo. “I’ve said it amongst these leaders, I’m sorry folks get pissed off that everybody gets treated equally.”

The Georgia case is falling apart and it’s one of numerous setbacks for the Democrats pushing these politicized cases, but these cases were never really meant to hold up in court. At least not long term.

But they are serving their actual purpose by running interference for the Kamala campaign, eating up time and resources by her opponent, and manufacturing the idea that he is a criminal. Much like Russiagate, these cases were a tactic meant to achieve the two ends of delegitimizing Trump and tying up his resources, and also the same third agenda which is to justify all sorts of fishing expeditions along the way.

Lawfare is banana republic politics by other means. And DA Willis is very much a banana republic DA.
