The actress Susan Sarandon despises the Jewish state. She stands foursquare with Hamas. She has denied the atrocities Hamas committed on October 7 — the rapes, tortures, mutilations, and murders of 1,200 Israelis. She accuses Israel, not Hamas, of “genocide” and “war crimes.” And she is now feeling sorry for herself because her agency has left her, and offers of work have dried up — apparently not everyone is willing to ignore her noxious views.

More on Sarandon’s wallowing in self-pity can be found here: “Actress Susan Sarandon claims blacklisted over pro-Palestinian rally, antisemitism,” Jerusalem Post, November

Actress Susan Sarandon claims she was blacklisted from Hollywood because of her antisemitic statements in an interview with the Sunday Times.

In November, Sarandon joined a pro-Palestinian rally in New York City, where she stated that “a lot of people were afraid of being Jewish at this time and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence.”…

There have reportedly been ten thousand antisemitic attacks in the United States since October 7, 2023. Sarandon believes Jews are now getting only “a taste” of what It feels like to be a Muslim in this country; she apparently believes Muslims are subject to far greater violence than Jews.

Sarandon said in the interview that after her statements from the rally were publicized the fallout was immediate, “I was dropped by my agency, my projects were pulled,” she says. “I’ve been used as an example of what not to do if you want to continue to work.”…

How unfair that supporters of Israel no longer wish to be associated with Susan Sarandon. How unjust of them to think her support of Hamas — by denying its atrocities, and by putting its October 7 attacks in their proper “historical context” so as to justify them — could be construed as antisemitism.

In April, Sarandon was approached by a fan where she denied Hamas’s October 7 atrocities and defended the terror group’s decision to reject multiple ceasefire agreements.

“We know that all of those myths about babies in ovens and the rapes…” Sarandon said in the video recording.

Long after the evidence of the atrocities, including eyewitness accounts and video evidence (taken by the rapists themselves) of girls and women being subject to mass rapes had been made public and accepted by the world, Susan Sarandon was denying they had ever happened. She has appeared alongside such groups as “Doctors Against Genocide” in visits to Congress. She has called for ending all aid to Israel. And she has in many venues chanted “From the river to the sea/Palestine will be free,” which is a call for the destruction of Israel and its replacement by a twenty-third Arab state. At a rally in New York, she accused Israel of “committing war crimes” in Gaza. She has supported South Africa’s brief at the International Court of Justice accusing Israel of “genocide.”

Susan Sarandon has posted on social media to more than 870,000 followers “Don’t let anyone tell you it started on Oct. 7, 2023.” By that, she meant that the Israelis have been carrying out atrocities against the Palestinians for decades, so it was understandable that the attacks by Hamas took place. According to Sarandon, those October 7 attacks were only in response to decades of Israeli violence and oppression. In her post, she listed 21 “massacres” that she appeared to blame on Jews, from 1937 to 2021, and the “Gaza genocide 2023,” which she called “still ongoing.”

While accusing Israel of “genocide” and “war crimes” and calling for Israel’s destruction, Susan Sarandon has never yet denounced Hamas, not just for the atrocities she denies ever occurred, but also for its use of its own civilians as human shields, by embedding its men and weapons in civilian areas and structures, including schools, mosques, hospitals, apartment and office buildings.

Now she wants the world’s sympathy, because the United Talent Agency months ago dropped her as a client, and she has not been getting the job offers that she believes she has a right to expect. Feel her pain, she asks of us. Sorry, Susan, no can do. You’ve made your bed — your anti-Israel and antisemitic bed — now lie in it.
