NextImg:NBC News Promotes Boycott of Company Over Man Who Hasn't Worked There in 10 Years

I’m not sure what happened to NBC News, but its online presence is filled with bad social justice rants that look like parodies of wokeness. And that’s not even talking about its Think focus which at one point published a defense of pedophilia.

Recently, Chip Wilson, the founder of Lululemon who hasn’t worked there in ten years, resurfaced to complain about DEI. But his complaints were less about race and more about the models for the overpriced athleisure brand looking fat and unattractive. Wilson owns a lot of stock, but was ousted from the board and doesn’t run the company. The company, whose base consists of people who inhale anti-racism dogma along with their chai and CBT vapes, predictably disavowed his comments.

That hasn’t stopped NBC News from promoting a call for a boycott anyway.

Outside the Lululemon shop at Ponce City Market in Atlanta on Thursday, Donna Martin, a Black woman seeking yoga gear, learned that the company’s founder, Chip Wilson, had publicly bashed the notion of the brand embracing diversity.

“I don’t get it,” Martin, a project manager at a telecommunications company, said. “But I do get it. This is the world in which we live now, where someone who created a brand doesn’t want everyone supporting that brand. It’s so ridiculous.”

She shook her head. “I got the memo,” Martin said as she walked away from the store.

Whom did she learn it from? NBC News, as near as I can figure.

DEI experts like Tiffany Brandreth said Martin had the right idea: Black consumers concerned about Wilson’s latest dismissal of diversity, equity and inclusion should consider boycotting the retailer.

“There should be a loud call to action for a widespread boycott of corporations that overtly disparage and label DEI as practices rooted in racism and discrimination,” said Brandreth, an organizational psychologist who specializes in DEI. “It’s crucial for anyone who claims to be an ally for DEI to send a powerful message that these regressive values will not be supported that goes beyond mere rhetoric.”

Except that Wilson doesn’t actually run Lululemon.

Wilson founded Lululemon in 1998 and stepped down as CEO in 2013, but still owns the majority of the company’s shares, which are valued at $4 billion, according to Forbes.

Most of the mainstream media is now run to the same standards as a high-school paper, reads like one, and exists purely to air woke tantrums.

Anyway since NBC has its roots in RCA which has its roots in GE which has its roots in J.P. Morgan who supported eugenics, it’s best to boycott NBC News.

Sure, J.P. Morgan has been dead for 110 years, but you can never be too careful. It’s crucial for anyone who claims to be an ally for DEI to send a powerful message that these regressive values will not be supported that goes beyond mere rhetoric.
