NextImg:“I Was Wondering What State I’m Living In”: Gov Newsom Outraged After Californians Want to Make Crime Illegal Again

Should crime be illegal? California, New York and a number of states unleashed massive crime waves through pro-crime legislation that eliminated bail, freed criminals, and implemented diversion from prison programs.

Now Californians, fed up by constant violence, appear to be set to approve a proposition that would help make crime illegal again.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, who criminalized being outside during COVID and posting memes, did everything possible to fight Prop 36, is now disgusted with Californians.

A recent poll showed that 71% of Californians would vote for Proposition 36.

And Newsom, America’s leading pro-crime governor, was not happy.

“I was wondering what state I’m living in,” he said after seeing the PPIC Poll. “the public clearly has a different point of view.”

Yes, it does. It doesn’t like crime. Understandably Newsom didn’t realize that since so many pro-crime propositions had passed (with an assist from then AG Kamala Harris writing distorted explanations of them that sounded like they were fighting crime) and a Dem supermajority had been able to privilege criminals.

Now Gov. Newsom is shocked. He doesn’t know what state he’s living in. Join the club, Gavin.
