NextImg:D.C Judge Keeps Issuing Rulings for Other Country

D.C. judges seem to be suffering from megalomania and Judge Boasberg seems to have the worst case of it.

Judge James Boasberg, who heads the D.C. District Court, decided to claim jurisdiction over Texas and New York, and then the entire United States, by forbidding the Trump administration from removing any alien enemies from the United States, and even ordered planes in the air to return, thereby also imposing his jurisdiction on the whole planet. Why not just declare himself planetary emperor at this rate?

Bos isn’t done quite yet.

A federal judge on Wednesday ruled a group of Venezuelans deported to a Salvadoran megaprison under the Alien Enemies Act must be provided a legal avenue to contest the Trump administration’s accusations that they are gang members.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg did not outline specific steps the administration must take, providing one week to propose how it intends to comply.

If there was ever a perfect time to echo Andrew Jackson’s line, “John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it.”

Judge Boasberg issued a ruling for the authorities of a foreign country and would now like the Trump admin to act as his errand boy and figure out how to carry it out.

Forget the legal issues in the case at hand, the central figures in the case are no longer under U.S. territorial jurisdiction.

Perhaps Judge Boasberg would like to head to El Salvador and lay down the law?
